Requirements for opening account for iraqies :

1-      Identity

2-      Nationality identity

3-      Iraqi passport

4-      Information card or residency card

5-      2 Photos for saving account and 1 photo for current account

6-      Job identity or job conformation

7- Limit of  Deposit of minimum 1000 dollar or 1000000 IQD or 1000 euro when opening an account.



Requirements for opening account for non- iraqies

1-      Passport

2-      residency card

3-      2 Photos for saving account and 1 photo for current account

4-      Job identity or job conformation

1-      Certificate of the organization or the institution

2-      Internal system is certified from the non-governmental organization in case of non-governmental institution

3-      Agreement from Kurdistan region for organization’s issuance certificate

4-      Stamp of the organization or institution

5-      General manager’s documents (Identity ,Nationality identity ,photo and information card or  residency card

6-      In case of two authorized persons an official letter should be submitted contains the names of the authorized persons and specify that the drawing should be individual or combined with presence of the authorized person with his documents (Identity, Nationality identity, photo and information card or residency card.)

7-      If the mother organization from a foreign country and establish a branch here in Iraq the documents of the main organization should be submitted and certified by the Iraqi ministry of foreign affairs to open a branch in Kurdistan region with a minutes of the meetings certified by non-governmental organization and application for opening an account showing the name of branch general manager and his warrant.
8-  Limit of  Deposit of minimum 1000 dollar or 1000000 IQD or 1000 euro when opening an account.


Requirements for opening account for warehouse or office:

1-      Certificate of the warehouse

2-      Lease  contract

3-      Certified Administrative order from warehouse department

4-      Warehouse’s stamp

5-      Documents of the warehouse’s owner (Identity, Nationality identity, photo and information card or residency card).

6-  Limit of  Deposit of minimum 1000 dollar or 1000000 IQD or 1000 euro when opening an account.

Requirements for opening account for company:

1-      Minutes of the meeting, issuance certificate certified by company’s registrar, in case of organization should be certified by department of non-governmental sector.

2-      Company issuance contact certified by company registration department

3-      Company’s stamp

4-      Agreement ( administrative order) and issuance order

5-      Presence of the managing director

 6- Limit of  Deposit of minimum 1000 dollar or 1000000 IQD or 1000 euro when opening an account.

If the managing director is Iraqi the (Identity, Nationality identity, photo and information card) should be submitted, if the managing director is non-Iraqi (the passport and the residency card) should be submitted.

1-      In case of more than one authorized person for the account

 (Drawing or all the banking operations) an official letter should be submitted clarifying all the authorized persons and specify the drawing (individual or combined) stamped by the company and signed by the managing director with the documents of the authorized person and his presence to sign

2-      Deposit of minimum 1000 dollar or 1000000 IQD or 1000 euro

Foreign companies:

1-      If the company exists outside Iraq and has a branch in Iraq , the issuance documents of the mother company should be submitted and certified by the embassy or consulate

2-      The agreement with the license for opening the branch in Erbil certified by an official entity

3-      Documents of the managing director of Erbil branch ( passport, photo, residency card) in case of non-Iraqi should be submitted , if he is Iraqi nationality (  (Identity ,Nationality identity ,photo and information card residency card) should be submitted

4-      Internal system of the branch

5-      An official letter for the authorized persons with their documents and specify the drawing( individual or combined) and their presence to sign


The service of distribution of salary to companies employees:

1-      Sign a salary contract after an interview with branch managing director

2-      Open an account for the company

3-      Open an account for the employees in accordance to their working place for all the bank branch

4-      Provide a table for the salary to the company’s accountant

5-      Provide a dependable table by two sides with a pre-approval by them



RTGS service:

1-      The ordering customer should have an account

2-      Fill the transaction’s application


ACH service:

1- The customer should have an account

2- Fill the transaction’s application if the transaction is CT

Other services:

Send statements by e-mail



International department

Types of services:

Transaction (outward: sending money, inward: receiving money),

 Letter of guarantee and swift



Requirements for service:


Transaction department

·          amount less than 10000 usd/euro

1-      Identity for the ordering

2-      Passport for non-iraqi

3-      Name , full address and account number of the beneficiary

4-      Information of the beneficiary’s bank (IBAN, swift code)

5-      Purpose of transaction

 

·         Amount over 10000 usd/euro

All above mentioned documents in addition to

1-      Invoice issued in the name of the ordering person in favor of  beneficiary

2-      Contract between the ordering and the beneficiary

3-      Title deed or lawyer’s contract

4-      Any other documents the ensure the purpose of transaction


Swift department:

1-in case of any misconception in the information provided by the ordering, swift department or transaction department call the customer to modify or clarify any information related to the name or swift code….

2-follow the late outward transaction

3-provide a copy of the transaction swift message to the customer after completion of the operation

4-clarifying to customer and answering any question concerning transaction 


Letter of credit department:

1-      The official contract between importer and exporter

2-      Official application for issuing L/C with the logo of the importer company showing the amount of L/C numerical and writing with other data

3-      Opening a current account to the customer or the company to deposit the amount of L/C

4-      Sign a contract between the importer and the bank stating the amount of the L/C and the required conditions

5-      All customer documents , if the customer is a company (company issuance contract , minutes of meeting , official taxable from general  tax authority

In addition to authorized persons names and their signature specimen


Letter of guarantee department:

1-      All customer documents

2-      Open a current account for the customer

3-      Enquiring about the form of the letter of guarantee as filling the application if it is local or external and whither it is bid bond or performance bond.

All the letter of credits and letter of guarantee should be subject to the bank’s anti money laundry


Credit department

Type of service:

Loans for small and intermediate projects, short time financial investment advance, car’s indebtedness (letter of credit), shipping documents in banks, good loan to participants.





Requirements for obtaining Islamic indebtedness for small and intermediate projects:

1-      Meeting with customer to know what type of facilities and under what kind of credits

2-      Application from customer

3-      The credit officer works on the credit study with the applicant

4-      The credit officer presents his recommendation about facilities

5-      The study exposed to the facilities committee that consist of upper management to study the project and give the approval


First: the official documents required (the original and copy for matching) which include:

1-      Identity, Iraqi Nationality identity, residential card, ration supply card and trading, industrial and sector card.

2-      Updated Real estate registration bonds which are not exceeding one month from the date of submission, in case of owning part of the estate (just in case the owner owns the bigger part of the estate) and a written agreement should be signed for real estate mortgage by partners or those demanding for estate mortgage with their documents that should be submitted (Identity, Iraqi Nationality identity, residential card, ration supply card and trading, industrial and sector card).

3-      Lease contracts

4-      Contract of incorporation of the company with registration certificate of the company and minutes of the founding meeting for the company certified by companies’ registrar department.

5-      Certified statements from the banks that they deal with

6-      Automobile registration license , machines that owned by customer (issued by industrial development department certified by notary republic)

Shares and bonds certificates with letter of conformation of ownership issued by issuance department.

7-      Others mentioned in instructions of granting bank credit

8-      Signing the contracts submitting granting.



Second: financial information attached a light photo matches with the application) includes feasibility study of the project (individual/company) 

1-      the balance sheet for the last two years certified as required by law (the project management + Iraqi accountants union )

2-      records for cash movement for the last six months with purchase and sells invoices or receipts and payments vouchers

3-      import and export documents

4-      executed contracts for the last two years and current contracts (under execution)

5-      experience certificates in job and confirmation of completion


Third: in case the presented estate mortgage is a house, the customer should have guarantor has banking facilities and prefer to be one the bank’s customer.    


  Absolute solidarity guarantees conditions:

1-      the guarantor must has banking facilities in our bank or other banks

2-      attendance of the guarantor to the bank to sign the guarantee with all the personal documents to be submitted

3-      make an inquiry   about the bank deals with customer in addition to the central bank inquiry


4-      concentrate on basic credit criteria (character , capital , collateral , payment

 Conditions) in the guarantor’s file which is the customer’s file (even if the guarantor was regular with an account in any bank we should know his income sources in case of non-payment

Forth: legal situation: individual, private companies, mixed companies, companies and government sectors 

Fifth :    sectors : industry , agriculture , trading , services , building and construction , constructions , transportation , communications , tourism , or others .


Sixth: upon filling the application must take in consideration the following:

1-      the report must be filled by computer only

2-      must not delete or change any of the tables in the report except the notes as it does not send with the report but exist just for helping in filling the report

3-      in case of no answer for specific field write ( the information is not available or unknown )

4-      the date mentioned page no.1 is the date of visit

5-      in case the customer company or any non-individual side we will need in page no.4 the customer’s authorization or the authorized person with his signature the same in the registration of the company accompanied with the company’s stamp or the concerned party.


Investment’s department

Type of service:

The service with the investors who deal with investment’s department and with the shareholders of the bank


Requirements for service:

For Iraqis : present of the identification documents ( Identity , Iraqi  Nationality identity , residential card) and Fill the kyc with the form of the ( disclosure of funds resources )

for foreign investors :a copy of the passport certified by the Iraqi embassy in the foreign country and fill kyc form with the form of the ( disclosure of funds resources )


Credit cards department:

Visa card

Type of service:

Debit card with Iraqi dinar currency (cash withdrawal – internet withdrawal – online-pos withdrawal)


Requirements for service:

1-      a copy of Identity and  Iraqi Nationality identity (2)

2-      A copy of valid passport and if not available, chamber of commerce identity or labor union identity or others.

(In case the passport belongs to a foreign customer a document must be submitted to the bank confirm place of work of the customer and confirm that the costumer is their employee

3-      Residential card, ration supply card and trading or residency card (2).

4-      Photo 2

5-      E-mail and phone number ( home and job)

6-      Amount of iqd 50000 commission of participation with visa card for two years.

         

Master card:

Requirements for service:

1-      a copy of Identity and  Iraqi Nationality identity (1)

2-      A copy of valid passport and if not available, chamber of commerce identity or labor union identity or others.

In case the passport belongs to a foreign customer a document must be submitted to the bank confirm place of work of the customer and confirm that the costumer is their employee

3-       Residential card, ration supply card and trading or residency card (1).

4-      Photo 1

5-      E-mail and phone number ( home and job)

6-      Amount of iqd 50000 commission of participation with visa card for two years.

7-      Prepaid multi-currency card with usd and euro the commission for two years participation is usd 35


Western union:

Type of service (inward and outward transaction)

Requirements for service

First: instance transactions with usd currency

Second: receiving western union transaction with iqd and usd currency

Third: transactions to bank’s account aboard with usd currency

Forth: sending and receiving transaction locally through western union



Required Documents for sending and receiving transaction:

1-      Identity or national card for Iraqi customer

2-      Passport for iraqi customer

3-      The new driving licenses (unified ) for iraqi customer

4-      Passport + residency for non- Iraqi
